The Flip MinoHD is the best selling HD camcorder. It has a USB connector that flips up from the top and a mini HDMI port on the bottom for connecting to a high definition TV. The record button can be found by touch as it is slightly recessed. The other buttons can only be pushed when the Flip is powered on and are touchscreen controls.

When you turn on the Flip it takes two seconds. The video quality has improved but there is no image stabiliser. This means possible shaky video.

The MinoHD comes with FlipShare desktop software stored onboard. This has the 'Magic Movie' option where you can select highlights from your clips. This can also be done manually and then you can add credits and a soundtrack. There are options for burning to a DVD, emailing and uploading to Facebook, Youtube and MySpace.
